Construction

Our prints are made with a focus on quality and attention to detail.   We use solvent based inks which provide vivid colour reproduction and excellent colour fastness.  The images are printed onto a high quality "Fredericks" fine art canvas.  The stretcher frames are hand crafted using  finger jointed pine with dowelled  & mitred joints.  The canvas is carefully stretched over the frame and securely stapled into position.  The backs of the frames are then sealed with framing tape and the cord is then secured for hanging.  Finally, a protective clear (non-yellowing) laminate spray is applied (matt or gloss) for added protection against moisture, dust and dirt. Below is an example of a print hanging.  It shows how the image wraps around the frame giving the print that added dimension.  The two outer pictures show the back of the frame highlighting the quality finishing provided to each and every print.
